Doughty and Sons, Inc. are certified installers of the Unico Comfort System, high velocity, mini duct air conditioning system. The Unico Comfort System is perfect for older homes with hydronic (forced hot water) or steam heating systems, new additions, remodeling or new home construction. In existing houses the Unico Comfort System can be installed without the major remodeling required for traditional air conditioning systems.

The Unico Comfort System removes approximately 30% more humidity than traditional systems. It also has a wide range of outlets that allow us to blend the system in with your house.

You can also use the Unico System for heating purposes through hydro air technology. This passes air over a hot water coil and distributes it through the Unico System to achieve your heating needs. Hydro air heating is a less dry heat than forced hot air which makes you more comfortable. A Unico Comfort System and a Viessmann heating boiler allows you to achieve cooling and heating comfortably and efficiently.
